Awful and corrupt company with a terrible educational product. APAX's classes are of very poor quality. 80% of the foreign teachers are from South Africa, which is not considered a native English speaking country. Their qualifications are just an online English teaching certificate costs 40 USD and takes no effort to complete. They do not teach -- they just stand in front of the classroom and go through pre-made slides on a TV. The lesson content is made by Koreans who don't speak English fluently, so they are many spelling and grammatical errors in the material. I guarantee you that your children would learn English better by staying at home and watching English videos on YouTube -- that's how bad the APAX program is. The top foreign manager is stupid and completely unqualified. Her experience before APAX was working at a fast food restaurant in the USA. She doesn't even have the qualifications to work as an English teacher at most of the schools in Vietnam, but she mana ges the foreign teachers at APAX and has a salary of more than VND150,000,000 a month plus a lot of other benefits.

I also heard that there was a kinda like “best reviewer competition” last year on Glassdoor. Apax thought they could white wash their image, but nooooo. Many teachers spoke their mind and gave Apax 1 star rating LOL

Bác nào muốn nâng cao trình độ tiếng anh xin mời lên Glassdoor đọc review của giáo viên nước ngoài. Những giáo viên chân chính cũng không thích kiểu ăn xổi có slide và hoạt động dựng sẵn đâu các bác, mà họ còn phải làm cả rổ những công việc admin khác ở nhà đấy

I just resigned my teaching job with APAX. Even though I am a fully qualified teacher in my home country, I must agree that the standard of education at APAX is incredibly low. It seems as if the curriculum was designed by those who have never taught. We are expected to follow this nonsense and bestow it upon the children.

That's true. I can see that in Apax Tan Phu, most of English teachers there are from South Africa.
